Buddhist beliefs self-help adsYour team’s task today is to create a self-help advertisement to help people end their suffering, just as the Buddha would have wanted. Think of those ads that appear on television at odd hours of the day and come in the listings as “Paid Programming”; that is what I am hoping you will create. In your ad you need to explain the Buddha’s beliefs on why people suffer and how to end this suffering. Therefore you will want to include information on the Four Noble Truths, the Eightfold Path, and the Five Precepts. Remember you are trying to convince people to purchase something! Your product should appear as the neatest thing since sliced bread. If you want to include an actual product that people will need to buy, maybe the Four Noble Truths hand cream or the Eightfold Path Energy Drink, feel free. As always, be creative and have some fun!
