AP Economics
Economics isn’t just something you find in a textbook. It can be a potent tool to right past wrongs and improve people’s lives. - Janet Yellen
Your to-do listGood luck on your exam today!
Here's how our exam will work today. Once everyone is settled I'll open up the exam on Google Classroom. It will appear as two separate assignments but all the questions for each part of the exam will appear on both. On one assignment, you will answer the multiple choice questions. On the other you will respond to the FRQs. You may create an electronic document for the FRQs or complete them on paper an upload a picture. Either is fine by me. I hope to have your grades posted fairly quickly but will not release the answers until everyone has taken the exam. Unfortunately, we will not see each other online until Friday, December 4th. We have two asynchronous days on December 1st and 2nd. My plan right now is to post some FRQs that will review both Unit 1 and Unit 2 for those days. I highly recommend completing them, I'm not comfortable simply leaving you with a video and an activity to learn new concepts so the asynchronous days aren't particularly helpful in my mind. What we can and will use them for as we move forward is to engage in constant review. Hopefully that will make your lives easier come May. Lastly, I want to thank all of you for your hard work so far this year. I know this school year is not easy. I've often felt that I am doing my best and yet my best is not good enough. No matter how you see the year, we've reached our first break and more will be coming. I know this Thanksgiving break may already be a let down in your minds but I hope that you will take time to relax and have fun. You've earned it and it will help you get through the next stretch of school. Again, good luck today and I'll see you online again on the 4th.

Your to-do list
Don't forget! In our next class on Tuesday, 11/24...We will take our Unit 2 test and your Graphing Test is due as well.
A special note for our fully remote students, I expect that you will complete the test within twenty-four hours of your class completing it. For example, someone in Beijing would need to complete the test by around 2AM on Thursday local time. Your to-do list
Please stop blowing up my lesson plan. As of twelve hours before class when I checked the results, you guys killed the Practice Multiple Choice questions. My first question is the cause of that. I figure it could be threefold: you guys are brilliant (obviously the greatest factor), I did a good job teaching this unit or the use of some extra resources. The debate is which of the latter two was the bigger factor.
What I would like you to do is go through your own results and let me know which questions you would like to go over. Now between not wanting to admit weaknesses and/or the lack of conversation on Zoom, I know if I put that question out there I will wait a long time for a response. Instead, please head to the question I posted on Google Classroom(Practice Multiple Choice Review) and respond there. Need help studying?
I've posted a few resources to help you review for our test on Google Classroom. Don't forget you have access to the Ultimate Review Packet as well.
FRQ Practice
You're going to get two FRQs on this exam so let's practice a few together in class.
