Government StimulusCongress has passed a $900 billion stimulus package. Assuming that all $900 billion will be distributed to consumers/households and that there is an MPS of .25, how much will the stimulus bill add to GDP? Supply in the Short-RunIn order to understand Short-Run Aggregate Supply, we need to know what the Short Run is. And you can bet if there is a Short Run that there will be a Long-Run. Please open up the Intro to Aggregate Supply(3.3): Sticky Wages and the SRAS Curve file on Google Classroom. Supply in the Long-Run

Money for the HolidaysI am giving all of you $100 for the holidays. There is only one catch (Economists will tell you there is no such thing as a free lunch.): You have to tell me what you plan to do with it. Please post your plan to the Money for the Holidays question on Google Classroom with specific dollar amounts that add up to a total of $100. The MultipliersWhen is a dollar more than a dollar? When we start talking the multipliers. Let's learn about them.
As we work on this you will need the Multiplier Notes and the Multiplier Connection. Both of these are posted on Google Classroom under the Multiplier Notes assignment. Your to-do list
Your homeworkFor additional practice, check out the activity and video from ACDC Econ that I have posted in the Aggregate Demand homework.
Your to-do listLet's begin by reviewing the fourth FRQ from the Unit 1 and 2 review. From there we'll take a look at the ones you did for the test. Opportunities for Unit 3Hopefully these two assignments will provide some helpful opportunities for Unit 3. The first is your graphing test; it's posted already and it's a big one. Ten graphs for 80 points. My recommendation: work on it over the course of the unit so that the information is fresh in your mind when you need to draw each graph and you are not left with a larger assignment at the end of the unit. Then again, it is a good review tool when you are studying. Second is the Review Packet from Jacob Clifford's Ultimate Review Guide. I have not posted the Review Packet itself because I want you to access yourself in the hope that it will get you to use more of the resources on that site. Again, my recommendation is to work on that over the course of the unit. If you complete this assignment over 90% correctly, you earn up to a 10% bonus on the unit exam to say nothing of the fact that it might help you do better on its own. Both of these assignments have tentative due dates in Google Classroom: the graphing test will be due the day of our unit exam and the Review Packet will be due the class before. Once I have a clearer idea of when the Unit exam will be, I will set exact due dates. Introduction to Aggregate Demand(3.1)Please head to Google Classroom, for the 3.1 Introduction Quiz. This will not be graded in Powerschool.

Checking in as we return from breakIt's a long stretch between the beginning of the school year and Thanksgiving Break. During that time, I feel that we learn a great deal about how the school year will go. This year, you are facing challenges that we have never had to deal with before. So now that we have returned from a few days off from school, I just wanted to do a quick check-in with all of you. What's working for you right now. What's not? What can I do to help you? What challenges do you think we'll face as we move forward through the school year. I feel that this is an especially uncertain time as we don't have a clear idea as to when we will return to campus. This is an opportunity for you to give me some feedback so that I may make adjustments as the school year continues taking into account the uncertain nature of our school year.
Please submit your response to the Thanksgiving Check-in question on Google Classroom. Your to-do listPlease complete the Unit 1 and Unit 2 FRQs posted in the Unit 3 topic on Google Classroom. The four FRQs posted there will help you review the topics in our first two units. Completing review activities on our asynchronous days will become an increasingly common practice as we move forward. I am doing this for several reasons. One, I am apprehensive about leaving you with a video to teach you new concepts and just going on the assumption that you figured them out. My feeling is that we would just end up reviewing them all over again in class and essentially wasting everyone's time. Two, the regular review will save us time when we hit the end of the year. If we review concepts every two weeks on our asynchronous days, I hope that the concepts will remain fresh in your mind so that they are not difficult to recall when we approach the AP exam. Your Unit 2 ExamsYour Unit 2 exams went pretty well in my opinion. That being said, I would like to extend the opportunity to all of you to retake the multiple choice section. As we did for the first unit exam, I will repost our exam on Google Classroom. You should be able to see the questions that you got wrong by looking at the first exam. Correct the questions that you got wrong and I will average out the scores for that section. Your corrections are due next Tuesday, December 8th. Our plan for Friday, 12/4During Friday's class, I would like to go over the FRQs from the exam and the ones that I have assigned for our two asnychronous days. We'll really get into Unit 3, National Income and Price Determination, starting on Tuesday the 8th.
