Your to-do list
Your homeworkFamily Letter: Here is an opportunity to give your family homework. I would love to hear from the experts on you: your family. Believe it or not the semester will be over before you know it. I want to help as best I can and one of the best ways to do that is to learn as much about you as I can as fast as I can. I know your families are busy so remember that this assignment can only help your grade.

Keep in mind that a classmate will be examining your artifacts to explain to the class more about you. Please also note that you will be displaying the artifacts on your desk.
Thanks to all of you for a great semester. Today is your last chance to wrap up your work on the final. Don't forget that you have a few other tasks to complete if you have not done so already.
Congratulations you've made it to the final week of class. It's time to get working on your final.
At the beginning of the semester we looked at what your most important values were and we discussed several policy options or philosophies for the United States. Now that we have studied terrorism, Syria (their civil war and their refugee crisis), Iran, climate change, and countless issues that you have brought to class during TCB including the events of this past fall in Paris and San Bernardino, what do you feel the guiding principles for our country should be when addressing events in this changing world? Your task for the final is to address that issue. Check out the assignment here. There are more resources on eBackpack to help you through the process as well.
You have the remaining two classes to complete your work on this project. During that time, we have a few more tasks to complete as well.
Good luck and let me know how I can help you! Your to-do list Carbon emissions are one of the leading contributors to climate change. Unfortunately, we live in a world dependent on the power generated by fossil fuels. How do we get people to change their consumption of fossil fuels and help reduce carbon emissions? Please head to eBackpack to the Carbon Tax assignment. Read the editorials that I provided to you and complete the graphic organizer. Your Homework: Limiting Carbon Emissions in Maine: You are the Governor of Maine. Create a proposal for our state based on the editorials you have read in class. What plan would you follow? Be sure to support your argument with your reasons. Support your reasons with evidence from the editorials. |
