AMERICA'S RESPONSE TO A CHANGING WORLD
Your to-do listPlease submit your Climate Change Policy Options Preferences to eBackpack. What should India do?If you recall the beginning of our unit, we examined what type of country India is: an up and coming nation, poised to become the most populous country on earth, with huge potential for development. It is also a country in which many people still live in extreme poverty. The connection to climate change? India's efforts to improve itself could also lead it to become one of the world's leading polluters.
Send a message to the people of India explaining what you feel India’s position on climate change should be. Should they be allowed to develop? Should protecting the planet take priority over developing their economy? Consider the different options you looked at in our Climate Change Policy Options assignment. Which option(s) should India follow as it tries to develop? Inform the people of India of your position and support it with at least six pieces of evidence from the articles provided. Please number the six pieces of evidence in your writing. Please submit your work to the What should India do? assignment on eBackpack. Collins Type 2, 33 points, 3 points for your position and 5 for each piece of evidence.
